Dr. Leung has been a diplomate of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) since 1980. He keeps up with the current developments of gynecological procedures and practices according to the guidelines. He also spends time with his patients in education, by stressing the importance of preventative screening for breast cancer, colon cancer, and gynecological cancers.
With the aging population of menopausal patients, he keeps current with the teaching of potential benefits and side effects of hormonal replacement therapy. He incorporates the use of Eastern remedies to treat similar conditions.
With the younger patients, he is involved in teaching preventative measures for sexually transmitted diseases and contraception. Reproductive age patients with gynecological problems are given treatment options that are medical in nature.
Dr. Leung practices family-oriented medical care involving up to three generations. Over the past thirty years, he has had the privilege of seeing many women progress through the various stages of life.
